400gLean Chicken Breast
100gSmoked Streaky Bacon
400gNew Potatoes
1LargeBrown Onion
2DessertspoonFlour
187mlWhite Wine
1DessertspoonDried Thyme
1DessertspoonDried Tarragon
2DessertspoonLemon JuiceSqueezy is fine
200mlFresh Water
2Chicken Stock Cubes
2DessertspoonSingle CreamThis is optional
Instructions
Chop your chicken (not too small) and chop your bacon (again not too small). Chop or slice your onion. Unless your potatoes are really quite small, cut each of them in half too (keep them raw)
Throw everything into your slow cooker, stir well.
Lid on, cook for 5 hours on low - Start 5 Hour Timer - When done, you can add 2 dessertspoons of cream if you wish to to 'finish' the sauce.
Serve into 3 portions and enjoy. Unused portions will freeze beautifully.
Notes
You can cook this in an oven at 150 Degrees instead of a slow cooker for 2 hours but check the potatoes are cooked before serving.
You can replace the chicken with Quorn or Turkey of equal weights.
